A storyteller of the village

A storyteller of the village

At Haruhi-en Niho

It was warm afternoon, finally. Warm sunlight was streaming in Haruhi-en.

They spent time on their own.

One was talking her friend on the phone about how she has been doing here.

Another was folding her own laundry.

Still another told me about the village nearby he was brought up, looking over the village through the window.

It is very fun to hear their stories. It brings us something new.

Mr. U: “Well, people up there were kind of that.”

Q-taro: !!!

Some stories give me cold sweat, which have many names of people and companies.

It snows at Niho.

It snows at Niho.

At Haruhi-en Niho

It snowed just as a weather forecast said.

It snows at Niho more than at around the central part of Yamaguchi-shi.

We had snow on the ground, and it was still snowing daytime.

There was no one who wanted to go out.

Oh, Who made the snowman on a table outside?

Our boss?

Mr. T: “So cold! Hey, don’t catch a cold!”

Mr. U:”Gee! I was planning to go home today, though!”

What is the hang of her overwhelming victory?

A happy new year!

Owing to your support, we welcomed a new year without any trouble.

We held a karuta competition with our elected few members on January 1.

We enjoyed “Ato-karuta (for adults)”, which is compiled by NPO Ato.

 We have large-sized “Ato-karuta”, too.

You can enjoy it with your family, clustered on the floor.

Anyway, you can enjoy regular-sized one with a few members

 Ms. S overwhelmed!

She got 9 cards in about 15 minutes.

Other residents got one or nothing…

What is the hang of her overwhelming victory?

Arrange the cards in the way easy to watch

Tract Letters with a finger on the card one by one.

keep saying the words on the card to look for it, etc.

Ms. S keeps her own way in daily life very well, such as the way of cooking, eating, bathing, changing clothes, walking, putting her stick and etc.

Same to Ichiro?

Routine way of working brings you a victory!

(Are you OK, Q-taro!?)

Why don’t you work hard for me today!?

Why don’t you work hard for me today!?

Haruhi-Blog

They are cooking something yummy for tea-time on a hot plate.
I have not seen them using it for a while.
Cook something yummy!!
Cook it by yourself if you want?
Nay, the residents cook it by themselves at Haruhi-en as much as they could.
Q-taro: “Hi, Ms. S. Why don’t you cook hot cake for us?
Okonomiyaki will do.”
Ms. S: “I won’t cook today!
You guys make me work too hard.”
“Why don’t you work hard for me today!?”

What would this cyber assist bring us…?

What would this cyber assist bring us…?

I went to ‘Robot care merchandise exhibition’ held by Yamaguchi branch of Alsok Co., Ltd.

One of the most loss leaders was an applied product of cyber technic ‘HAL’ of Japan, which obtained international patent application

There were also watching sensors for people who care for their families.

I tried a supporting power belt for waist to help to lift people with ease.

This is a photo when I tried it. It’s not a photo of sumo match, mind you!

It was much lighter than I expected. I might forget wearing it.

To tell the truth, I forgot wearing it, while the staff was explaining the product.

He told me its new model was waterproof for the increasing demand of bathing assist.

I asked how it dealt with dew condensation inside to avoid breakdown or electric shock.

“Well, it’s a black box. I don’t know its detail.” He answered.

I felt there were some unclear points about the explanation of the staff of Omron Co., Ltd, affiliated company of Cyberdyne Co., Ltd.

Well, it’s like the very product of newest technology which obtains international patent application!

Don’t worry.

 This product obtains CE marking.

But it made me worried more.

Japan has technology enough to pass the most strict safety standards around the world.

Nevertheless, our country has never had the standard of the same level.

What if cheap products made in other countries bring us lots of accidents?

I know it is excellent product, but our facility would never introduce it, even if we get a subsidy.

It is OK to keep putting electrode pads on my back, known by low frequency therapy equipment, but it’s necessary to do warming up every time before using it.

It’s not handy if you want to use it for transferring assist at times.

It made me worried more…

What if we have to use the product which does not match reality?

Moreover, what if nursing care compensation of Long Term Care Insurance is reduced, because those robots are introduced?

Yeah, it was fun to try it, but what would this cyber assist bring us…?
